What does an ERP cost at Centura?
The honest answer: it depends. ERPNext is open source, you pay no licence fees. Your investment goes into a clean implementation and reliable operation. We work in stages, prioritise together, and you stay in control of the budget at all times.
- Implementation
- from CHF 15'000
- Operation
- from CHF 3'000 / year
- Time to go-live
- 2 to 8 months
-
One‑time: implementation
Analysis, configuration, data migration, training and go-live. Project-based and in stages, we start with a process assessment and then quote at a fixed price.
-
Ongoing: operation
Hosting in Switzerland, monitoring, backups, updates and support. You pay per user and year, predictable and with no licence fees.
How your price is set
Every project is different. You first receive a rough estimate so you know the ballpark early on. The process assessment then produces a binding fixed-price quote per work package. You carry no estimation risk.
Process assessment & requirements
In a workshop with one of our senior solution architects, we capture your business processes in a structured way. You receive a detailed requirements specification and a binding fixed-price offer. Only then do you decide whether and how to proceed.
from CHF 5'000
Reference figures by project scope
Non-binding figures from real projects, from a lean start to a group with several companies. Your price follows from the requirements specification.

Frequently asked questions
What if we don't continue after the process assessment?
Then the project ends for you. You pay for the process assessment and keep the specification, with no further obligation. Only with the fixed-price quotation do you decide whether and how to continue.
How long does an implementation take?
It depends on the scope and on how actively you drive the project. An entry solution with standard processes is productive within a few months, a complete solution typically takes 3–8 months from kick-off to go-live. We implement groups of companies in stages, with a go-live for each stage.
How does operation pricing work?
Operation is billed per user and year, depending on role. Power users with full access (e.g. admin, contact person for Centura) cost the most, business users for their department (e.g. sales, production, logistics, accounting) less, and light users, i.e. employees with occasional tasks (e.g. time tracking, expenses, leave requests), the least. You combine the roles freely to match your team. Important: additional modules such as CRM, HRMS or web shop do not increase your ongoing costs – you pay per user, not per module.
What counts as a user?
A user is a personal login. You create one user for each person who works in the system.
Is there a minimum number of users?
No. You can start with a single user and pay only for the users you actually need.
How is operation billed, and can I add users later?
We bill operation yearly in advance. You can add or reduce users at any time, effective from the next billing period.
Do I pay for operation during the implementation?
No. The operation subscription (Centura Cloud) starts only at go-live. During the implementation you pay only for the implementation itself.
What does an update cost?
Updates to the standard applications are included in operation. We apply them regularly and announce maintenance windows; urgent security updates also at short notice. We keep your customer-specific adaptations up to date for a yearly flat fee stated in the quotation.
What do changes after go-live cost?
We quote new requirements the same way as in the implementation, at a fixed price per work package. You decide before the start whether the change is worth it.
Do extensions from the catalogue cost extra?
We set up extensions such as the web shop, parcel shipping or the bank connection as part of a work package. The quotation states the price for setup and operation.
Am I locked in with Centura?
No. ERPNext is open source with open standards and documented interfaces. At the end of the contract you receive, on request, an export of your database and files in the standard format.
